26-6814-00: Magnum Backset Crank Upgrade Kit

This kit is for Magnums serial number DJ-2001-95 through DJ-2853-95. Machines with higher serial numbers were built with this assembly.

The Backset adjuster on this series Magnum was designed to be used "Occasionally". I.E. Once or twice a month. When the backset crank is used "Occasionally" it will last a very long time. Some customers need to adjust the backset several times a day. When it is used this often the threads on the backset crank will wear out prematurely. This kit upgrades the backset crank assembly so that it will handle the rigors of daily adjustment.
