The drill guide provides an easy and accurate way to drill the wire raceway required for electrified locks.Simply drill from a hinge cut out to the desired location on the opposite side of the door. In most cases the door can remain mounted in the jamb, it just needs to be able to open about 100 degrees for clearance. The drill guide can be adjusted to the angle from door hinge to lock. Both drill guide and clamps are rubber lined to protect the door and provide a positive grip.
• Drill guide will drill a 1-3/4” door with a 3/8” diameter hole.
• A 48” carbide drill bit is included with the drill guide, MAJHIT-60-3848
• A 24" Drill bit is also included
• Intended for use on non-fire rated doors only
