And using Norfield’s HingeMaster, you can mortise doors and jambs simultaneously for a clean, consistent perfect fit. These products are built to last. This kit includes the following

HINGE PREP
HingeMaster kit (MFG56100)

• Mortise for 3-1/2", 4", and 4-1/2" hinges in either and interior or exterior door and jamb. The kit will do both 1/4" and 5/8" radius.
• A unique feature of the HingeMaster is that the hinges are applied while the door components are in the fixture.

DeWalt 1-3/4" HP Router (DEW616)

• Use with template guides and router bits in the HingeMaster Kit to mortise for hinges

DeWalt 3/8" HD Drill(DEW21009)

• Use with the following for screw installation:
  • Vix bit(VIC9) to pre-drill hinge and lock screw holes
  • Magnetic bit tip holder (VEG2)
  • 10 - #2 tip (DML190) for screw installation

LOCK PREP
BoreMaster Kit (TEM115C3)

• Bore 2-1/8" and 1-5/8" lock holes at 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset in doors from 1" to 2-7/8" thick
• Bore 1" latch hole
• Router templates for 1' x 2-1/4" strike and latch plates
• Router templates for 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" latch and 1-1/8" strike plates

The DeWalt router listed under hinge prep will be used with the following to mortise the latch and strike plates

• Template guide (POR42045)
• Router bit (included in the HingeMaster Kit)

Dewalt 1/2" Production Drill (DEW130V)

• Use with bits to drill holes

DOOR HOLDER
Norfield Door Holder (MFG200)

• Holds the door on edge for hinge and lock prep

DOOR EDGE BEVELING
Bosch 3-1/4" Planer (BOS2632)

• Use to put a 3 degree bevel on the edge of the door

ACCESSORIES
This kit also includes: 1/4" radius corner chisel (included in the BoreMaster Kit)

• Use to square the corners in the hinge, latch and strike mortises
