This kit is for all Magnum and Pro models with a serial number of DJ-1999 and lower.
The elevator motor used on this series Magnum was changed by the manufacturer about 10 years ago. The new style motor is not strong enough to support the top section of a Magnum. When the new style motor is used as an elevator motor for a Magnum, the top section will fall. This kit contains a larger motor that will support the top section of a Magnum. Because the motor is longer it must be mounted differently.
