26-6810-00 95/Sig Mag latch drill cylinder upgrade kit

This kit addresses reliability issues found with latch cylinders installed on machines from serial number DJ2201-95 through DJ2540-95. Although the cylinders installed on these machines meet the functional requirements, drill feed speed adjustments can be difficult. The new cylinder improves the drill feed speed adjustment accuracy and ensures consistent operation. Installation does not require a Norfield technician, and can be completed within 1 1/2 hours. The procedure requires removal and replacement of the Latch Drill Cylinder, air control lines, and position switch mounting bands. The installation time will vary on some machines because the correct size air lines (black 1/4inch) are already installed. If the air lines are the correct size, installation steps 7 & 8 can be omitted. To reduce the risk of personal injury make sure that the appropriate safety standards are followed. Proper Lockout-Tagout procedures protect you from the dangers of accidental or unexpected startup of machinery and equipment, or the release of hazardous energy during service and maintenance activities.
