26-5209-00 5200 Chain Slack Detection Switch

The 5200 door loader uses roller chain to raise and lower the feeder table and the destacker. The chains have counter weights that keep the chains tight. The chains do not form a closed loop. As a result if the feeder table, or the destacker, gets hung up on something they will stop and the motor will continue to feed the chain over the top. This is very dangerous as the table could fall at any time. The chain slack detection switch will detect any slack in the chain and stop the loader before it can feed excess chain over the top. There is also an override switch to allow the operator to reset the machine.
