26-5009-00: 4000/5000 Dewalt 616 Butt Router Upgrade

This kit is for all 4000 machining centers up to MC-4102 and all 5000 machining centers up to MC-5111. Machines with higher serial numbers were built with the 616 routers.

The early 4000 and 5000 machines used a Black & Decker or De Walt motor that is no longer available. The motor that is currently available from De Walt has a different depth adjustment and will not work properly in these machines as built. This kit converts the early 4000 and 5000 machines to use the De Walt DW616 router motor.
