Use this sturdy double corner chisel for squaring out both 1/4" strike plate mortises...it will save you both time and money! A Norfield double radius chisel is also available to convert a 5/8" radius to a 1/4" radius for hinges!

Double Corner Chisel Procedure:

Simply place the proper size double corner chisel on the edge of one side of your strike plate mortise. Strike both chisel ends with a hammer and repeat on opposite edge, your strike plate hardware is now ready to install!!
