Snap Rings-1-5/8"

Snap Rings are axially assembled onto shafts. Lug holes and retaining ring pliers simplify installation and removal--the rings expand to pass over the shaft when opened by the pliers. They make nearly 360 degree contact with a machined groove in the shaft when released by the pliers.Snap Rings accommodate higher thrust loadings and provide a larger protruding shoulder. Ring size refers to shaft diameter, which is larger than the ring's free diameter.
